8. Would you join/particpate more in the forums if they were ad-free? I see no ads. Yes, but commoners do. Also, that's about as useful as me filling out the damn thing.

I've made a thread for responding to the survey I posted on the CFH blog. If you want to respond here, feel free. You can also send me an e-mail with your answers if you don't like using the forums. Here are the questions again, should they be displaced from the main page.
1. How often do you visit Coozy For Hire? 2. How long have you been reading? 3. How did you first find Coozy For Hire? (link, word-of-mouth, etc) 4. Which character would you like to see more of? (of any character who has previously appeared in the comic) 5. Do you prefer story arcs or single comics? 6. Do you read most/all of our blog posts? 7. What do you think of the Spare! side-comic? 8. Would you join/particpate more in the forums if they were ad-free?
All (non-smartass) responses are appreciated.

Because I have to make sure Zach gets off to school okay (everyone else has left by that point and my parents don't trust him to be able to do it himself). So in the morning I get a little internet time before I leave for work.
Consript reporting! We will bury them.

Well, looks like it's ritual seppuku again for me.
But for the record, I don't get to see a preview of what my comic description is gonna look like, so if there are errors (particularly in the HTML code), they're only gonna be fixed once that comic rolls around and I read the description on the main page.

And considering that panels 2 through 6 were kind of a rush job, that's not too shabby. Panel 3 I'm particularly proud of.

Yeah, I'm going to run the next one on Thursday. Not doing so would just confuse the regulars who don't make use of these spiffy forums. SHAME SHAME DOUBLE SHAME on thems.
But there are only two strips left in this arc, so it's not so bad. Really, it works perfectly, because it ends on the last week of October, and the way we're going with the story could easily segue into a nice Halloween bonus comic (I'm thinking filler-quality here). FORESHADOWING! Kind of.
It's kind of funny though, the first three were so colour-tastic and light-hearted, and the last three are all dark and serious(ish). Nice 180 we did there, eh? CAPS!

If you'll recall part two, Ryan mentions that Edwin has been like that "ever since he bought that Dell laptop" so we're assuming by the time the others found him that way, he's long since touched it. Tied in, set, and match. I think.

I dunno. I think it works just fine. Sure it doesn't say just how the commercials hypnotize people, but it all fits together. Like the comic says, the commercial puts people in a very temporary Dell trance, and then they order the computer, which (thanks to the hippie magic and toad juice) will keep them hooked. I'd make some kind of metaphor, but I don't think anything else works quite that way.

I very much enjoy Maggie and The Ferocious Beast. Yes, I know it's for toddlers, but the Ferocious Beast never fails to slay me. Also, I have a rather large Beast Pillow. Observe. While it was really more of a joke gift from my mom, I still like having it around, because I can never have too many pillows. As far as DELL goes, I have no issues with the company or their computers, except for the whole spyware issue. The story is about Edwin, after all. I really don't have any allegiances to any kind of computer companies or whatnot, because it's not really my scene.

ZOMG I'm not the only spelling nazi.
Though to set the record straight, "complimented" is correct. "complement" and "compliment" are two different words entirely.

Well I don't drink a lot, so my experience is pretty limited. However, I am quite partial to Molson Canadian.

Meh. I'm far less less offended by cornhole than I am by lady time. I guess it's kind of a subjective thing.

The article is now done. I've gotta say, it's pretty crap-tastic. Also, I had to bring up some rather unsavory topics. They just couldn't be avoided, what with how the game works and all. then again, I guess everyone who's going to read it will see my blog post about this before they read this post. Fnuck.

Quite frankly, I've decided that to make for more legitimate reviews, I will now finish all the games I do full reviews on. Not necessarily all to 100%, but SPP is so easy, that there's really no reason not to. Also, there's gotta be some kind of sweet bonus crap for finishing it 100%. If not, I can't be held responsible for any mail-bombs Nintendo might receive.

The article is about half done. I just have to clear the World 8 bonus levels to finish the game. Frankly, that might take a while, because W8 is a pain in the ass. The levels are just so long...
Rest assured though, it will be done. Though it might end up like the Rocky Mountain Pops and you'll have built it up in your mind so much that nothing could possibly satisfy your expectations.
